Acts 25:16 RUSV
16 I answered [it, them],
[what, that, why] [at, by, with, of] [Romans, The Romans] [no, not] customs [issue, betray, extradite] [any, some kind of] human [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] [death, dying],
before (rather than) обвиняемый [will be, would be] [have, to have] обвинителей [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] face and [receive, will receive] [freedom, liberty] [defend, defend yourself, to defend oneself] against [accusations, charges, complaints, the charges]. |
To whom I answered,
It is not the manner of the Romans to deliver any man to die, before that he which is accused have the accusers face to face, and have licence to answer for himself concerning the crime laid against him. Acts 25:16 KJV |
Acts 28:17 RUSV
17 [Across, By Way Of, Through] three [days, of the day] Paul [assembling, convened, gathered] [noble, notable, the most noble] [from, in, of, out] Jews and,
when [they, they are] [agreed, got together],
spoke [it, them]:
[husbands, men] [brethren, brothers]!
[never, not] (having done) [anything, nothing, never mind] against [people, the people] or [fatherly, paternal] customs,
i [at, in, of, on] bonds [from, in, of, out] Jerusalem [betrayed, delivered] [at, in, of, on] [arms, hand, hands] [Romans, The Romans]. |
And it came to pass,
that after three days Paul called the chief of the Jews together: and when they were come together, he said unto them, Men and brethren, though I have committed nothing against the people, or customs of our fathers, yet was I delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.
