Genesis 30:1 RUSV
1 И уви́дела Рахи́ль,
1 And saw Rachel,
что она́ не рожда́ет дете́й Иа́кову,
[what, that, why] [she, she is] [never, not] (gives birth) [child, children] [Jacob, James, To Jacob],
и позавидовала Рахи́ль сестре свое́й,
and позавидовала Rachel сестре [his, mine],
и сказа́ла Иа́кову:
and ((she) said) [Jacob, James, To Jacob]:
дай мне дете́й,
give [me, to me] [child, children],
а е́сли не так,
[while, and, but] [if, a, when, unless] [never, not] so,
я умира́ю.
i (i am dying). |
When Rachel saw that she bore Jacob no children, she envied her sister. She said to Jacob, “Give me children, or I shall die!” Genesis 30:1 ESV

John 16:21 RUSV
21 Же́нщина,
21 Woman,
когда́ рожда́ет,
when (gives birth),
те́рпит скорбь,
[endures, tolerates] sorrow,
потому́ что пришёл час её;
[because, that is why, therefore] [what, that, why] [arrive, came, come] hour her;
но когда́ роди́т младе́нца,
[but, yet] when (will give birth) [babe, baby, child],
уже́ не по́мнит ско́рби от ра́дости,
already [never, not] remembers sorrow from joy,
потому́ что роди́лся челове́к в мир.

When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. John 16:21 ESV
A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow,
because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. John 16:21 KJV |
