12 Четвёртый А́нгел воструби́л,

12 Fourth Angel [he blew his trumpet, he sounded the alarm],

и поражена была́ тре́тья часть со́лнца и тре́тья часть луны и тре́тья часть звёзд,

and (i am amazed) was [the third, third] [part, portion] sun and [the third, third] [part, portion] moons and [the third, third] [part, portion] stars,

так что́ затми́лась тре́тья часть их,

so [what, that, why] eclipsed [the third, third] [part, portion] [them, their],

и тре́тья часть дня не светла́ была-так,

and [the third, third] [part, portion] [days, of the day] [never, not] светла была--так,,

как и но́чи.

[how, what, as, like (comparison)] and [night, nights].

And the fourth angel sounded,
and the third part of the sun was smitten,
and the third part of the moon,
and the third part of the stars;
so as the third part of them was darkened,
and the day shone not for a third part of it,
and the night likewise.
