13 Ита́к,

13 [So, Therefore],

неуже́ли до́брое сде́лалось мне смертоносным?

[greater, indeed, really, surely] [good, kind] [done, happened, it happened] [me, to me] смертоносным?

Ника́к;

[Anyhow, No Way];

но грех,

[but, yet] [offences, sin],

оказывающийся грехо́м потому́,

оказывающийся [a sin, sin] [because, that is why, therefore],

что посре́дством до́брого причиняет мне смерть,

[what, that, why] [by, by means of] [good, good morning, hello] причиняет [me, to me] [death, dying],

так что грех стано́вится крайне гре́шен посре́дством за́поведи.

so [what, that, why] [offences, sin] becomes крайне sinful [by, by means of] commandments.

Was then that which is good made death unto me?
God forbid.
But sin,
that it might appear sin,
working death in me by that which is good;
that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

начертанное на камнях,

бы́ло так сла́вно,

что сыны́ Изра́илевы не могли́ смотре́ть на лице́ Моисеево по причи́не сла́вы лица его́ преходящей,

written and engraven in stones,
was glorious,
so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance;
