4 И снискал Ио́сиф благоволе́ние в оча́х его́ и служи́л ему́.

4 And снискал Joseph [benevolence, favor, goodwill, grace, kindness] [at, in, of, on] eyes [his, him, it] and [served, serving] [him, it, to him].

И он поста́вил его́ над до́мом свои́м,

And he [put, set] [his, him, it] above home [his, mine, your],

и все,

and [all, any, every, everybody, everyone],

что име́л,

[what, that, why] had,

отда́л на руки его́.

gave [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] [arms, hand, hands] [his, him, it].

So Joseph found favor in his sight and attended him,
and he made him overseer of his house and put him in charge of all that he had.
