20 So Joseph [bought, i bought] [all, whole] [earth, land] [at, in, of, on] Egypt for [pharaoh, the pharaoh].

Египтя́не прода́ли ка́ждый своё по́ле,

[Egyptians, The Egyptians] sold [each, every] (its own) field,

потому́ что го́лод одоле́л их,

[because, that is why, therefore] [what, that, why] hunger [conquered, defeated, overcame, overpowered, vanquished] [them, their],

и земля́ ста́ла собственностью фарао́на,

and [earth, ground, land] became собственностью [pharaoh, the pharaoh],

So Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh,
for all the Egyptians sold their fields,
because the famine was severe on them.
The land became Pharaoh's.

which [never, not] became собственностью [pharaoh, the pharaoh].

So Joseph made it a statute concerning the land of Egypt,
and it stands to this day,
that Pharaoh should have the fifth;
the land of the priests alone did not become Pharaoh's.
