6 И оста́вил он все,
6 And [departed, left] he [all, any, every, everybody, everyone],
что име́л,
[what, that, why] had,
в рука́х Ио́сифа и не знал при нем ничего́,
[at, in, of, on] [hand, hands] Joseph and [never, not] [knew, know] [at, in] [dumb, him, mute, speechless] [anything, nothing, never mind],
кро́ме хлеба,
[but, except, besides] [bread, of bread],
кото́рый он ел.
[which, which the, who] he ate.
Ио́сиф же был краси́в станом и краси́в лицем.
Joseph [but, same, then] [be, to be, was, were] beautiful станом and beautiful [face, hypocrite]. |
So he left all that he had in Joseph's charge, and because of him he had no concern about anything but the food he ate. Now Joseph was handsome in form and appearance. Genesis 39:6 ESV
And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand;
