31 Зате́м,
31 Then,
умы́в лицо́,
washing face,
он вновь вы́шел,
he again [came, came out],
и,
and,
совладав со свои́ми чувствами,
совладав [after, with] (with their own) чувствами,
сказа́л:
[he said, said, say, saying, tell]:
–Подава́йте еду.
–[Give, Serve] [coming, i am coming, i am on my way]. |

держа́сь преда́ния ста́рцев,

[never, not] [are eating, eating],
не умы́в тща́тельно рук;
