2 Прошу́,

2 [Ask, Beg, I Beg, Plead],

что́бы мне по пришествии моем не прибега́ть к той твердой смелости,

[to, so that, in order to, because of] [me, to me] [along, by, in, on, to, unto] пришествии [my, mine] [never, not] [resort, resort to] [to, for, by] that твердой смелости,

кото́рую ду́маю употребить про́тив не́которых,

[which, which one] think употребить against some,

помышляющих о нас,

помышляющих about [us, we],

что мы поступаем по плоти.

[what, that, why] [we, we are] поступаем [along, by, in, on, to, unto] flesh.

But I beseech you,
that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence,
wherewith I think to be bold against some,
which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.

10 Для того́ я и пишу́ сие́ в отсутствии,

10 For that i and [i am writing, writing] this [at, in, of, on] отсутствии,

что́бы в прису́тствии не употребить строгости по вла́сти,

[to, so that, in order to, because of] [at, in, of, on] presence [never, not] употребить строгости [along, by, in, on, to, unto] authorities,

да́нной мне Го́сподом к созиданию,

this [me, to me] Lord [to, for, by] созиданию,

а не к разорению.

[while, and, but] [never, not] [to, for, by] разорению.

Therefore I write these things being absent,
lest being present I should use sharpness,
according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification,
and not to destruction.
