4 Я мно́го наде́юсь на вас,
4 I [a lot of, many] [hope, i hope] [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] you,
мно́го хвалюсь ва́ми;
[a lot of, many] хвалюсь you;
я испо́лнен утеше́нием,
i [executed, fulfilled, performed] [a consolation, comfort, consolation],
преизобилую ра́достью,
преизобилую joy,
при всей ско́рби на́шей.

2 И́бо я зна́ю усе́рдие ва́ше и хвалюсь ва́ми пред Македонянами,
2 [For, Because] i [i know, know] [diligence, perseverance, zeal] [your, yours] and хвалюсь you [before, front] Македонянами,
что Ахаия приготовлена ещё с прошедшего года;

и ре́вность ва́ша поощрила мно́гих.
