1 Corinthians 9:16 RUSV
16 И́бо е́сли я благовеству́ю,
16 [For, Because] [if, a, when, unless] i [i bring good news, i preach the gospel],
то не́чем мне хвали́ться,
that nothing [me, to me] [boast, boasting, brag, brag about it, to boast],
потому́ что́ э́то необходи́мая обя́занность моя́,
[because, that is why, therefore] [what, that, why] [that, this, it] necessary [duty, obligation, responsibility] my,
и горе мне,
and [woe, grief, mountain, sorrow] [me, to me],
е́сли не благовеству́ю!

For though I preach the gospel,

18 За что́ же мне награ́да?
18 [After, Around, At, Behind, Over] [what, that, why] [but, same, then] [me, to me] [reward, prize]?
За то,
[After, Around, At, Behind, Over] that,
что́,
[what, that, why],
пропове́дуя Ева́нгелие,
[preaching, proclaiming] [Gospel, The Gospel],
благовеству́ю о Христе́ безме́здно,
[i bring good news, i preach the gospel] about Christ (free of charge),
не по́льзуясь мое́ю вла́стью в благовествовании.
[never, not] [taking advantage of, using] my [authority, dominion, power] [at, in, of, on] благовествовании. |
What is my reward then?
Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel. 1 Corinthians 9:18 KJV |
