12 А наёмник,
12 [While, And, But] [hired hand, hireling, mercenary],
не па́стырь,
[never, not] shepherd,
кото́рому овцы не свои́,
(to whom) sheep [never, not] their,
ви́дит приходя́щего во́лка,
[he sees, saw, sees, seeth] [coming, incoming] wolf,
и оставля́ет ове́ц,
and leaves sheep,
и бежи́т;
and [escape, runs, running];
и волк расхища́ет ове́ц,
and wolf plunders sheep,
и разгоня́ет их.
and [accelerates, disperses, scatters] [them, their].
He who is a hired hand and not a shepherd,
who does not own the sheep,
sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees,
and the wolf snatches them and scatters them.

But he that is an hireling,
and not the shepherd,
whose own the sheep are not,
