Genesis 4:7 RUSV
7 е́сли де́лаешь до́брое,
7 [if, a, when, unless] [doing, you do] [good, kind],
то не поднимаешь ли лица?
that [never, not] поднимаешь whether faces?
а е́сли не де́лаешь до́брого,
[while, and, but] [if, a, when, unless] [never, not] [doing, you do] [good, good morning, hello],
то у двере́й грех лежи́т;
that [at, by, with, of] doors [offences, sin] [lie, lies, lying];
он влечёт тебя́ к себе́,
he [attracts, entails] you [to, for, by] [himself, myself, thyself, to myself, yourself],
но ты господствуй над ним.
[but, yet] you господствуй above him. |
If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is contrary to you, but you must rule over it.” Genesis 4:7 ESV
If thou doest well,
