я Иудеянин,

Тарсянин,
Тарсянин,
граждани́н небезызвестного Киликийского города;
citizen небезызвестного Киликийского [cities, city, town, towns];
прошу́ тебя́,
[ask, beg, i beg, plead] you,
позво́ль мне говори́ть к наро́ду.
[allow me, enable, let] [me, to me] [to speak, to talk] [to, for, by] [to the people, nation].

But Paul said,
I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus,
a city in Cilicia,
a citizen of no mean city:
and,
I beseech thee,
suffer me to speak unto the people.

со́тник подошёл и донёс тысяченача́льнику,
centurion (came up) and denounced [to the commander of thousands, to the thousand commander],
говоря́:
[saying, talking]:
смотри́,
[look, see],
что ты хо́чешь де́лать?
[what, that, why] you [do you want, want, you want to] [to do, to make]?
э́тот челове́к Ри́мский граждани́н.
this [man, human, person] Roman citizen.

When the centurion heard that,
he went and told the chief captain,
saying,
Take heed what thou doest:
for this man is a Roman.

you Roman citizen?
Он сказа́л:

Then the chief captain came,
and said unto him,
Tell me,
art thou a Roman?
He said,
Yea.

29 Then immediately [retreated, they retreated] from him хотевшие пытать [his, him, it].
А тысяченача́льник,

узна́в,
[having found out, having learned, learned, perceived],
что он Ри́мский граждани́н,
[what, that, why] he Roman citizen,
испуга́лся,
scared,
что связа́л его́.
[what, that, why] [bind, linked, tied] [his, him, it].

Then straightway they departed from him which should have examined him:
and the chief captain also was afraid,
after he knew that he was a Roman,
and because he had bound him.

отня́л его́,

This man was taken of the Jews,
and should have been killed of them:
then came I with an army,
and rescued him,
having understood that he was a Roman.
