проси́ли Пила́та уби́ть Его́.
[appealed, asked, begged, besought, pleaded, they asked] Pilate [destroy, kill, murder, slew, to kill] [His, Him, It].

And though they found no cause of death in him,
yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.
