42 Иису́с же,

42 Jesus [but, same, then],

подозва́в их,

[beckoning, called, calling] [them, their],

сказа́л им:

[he said, said, say, saying, tell] [it, them]:

вы зна́ете,

[ye, you] [know, you know],

что почитающиеся князьями наро́дов госпо́дствуют над ни́ми,

[what, that, why] почитающиеся князьями peoples [dominate, prevail] above them,

и вельмо́жи их вла́ствуют и́ми.

and nobles [them, their] [rule, they rule] [by them, them, they].

And Jesus called them to him and said to them,
“You know that those who are considered rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them,
and their great ones exercise authority over them.

But Jesus called them to him,
and saith unto them,
Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them;
and their great ones exercise authority upon them.
