Luke 7:24 RUSV
24 По отше́ствии же по́сланных Иоа́нном,
24 [Along, By, In, On, To, Unto] [departed, departure] [but, same, then] sent John,
на́чал говори́ть к наро́ду об Иоа́нне:
[began, start] [to speak, to talk] [to, for, by] [to the people, nation] about John:
что смотре́ть ходи́ли вы в пусты́ню?
[what, that, why] [behold, look, see, to look, view, watch] went [ye, you] [at, in, of, on] [desert, the desert, wasteland, wilderness]?
трость ли,
[cane, walking stick] whether,
ве́тром колеблемую?
(blown by the wind) [fluctuating, i hesitate]? |
When John's messengers had gone, Jesus began to speak to the crowds concerning John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? Luke 7:24 ESV
And when the messengers of John were departed,
he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind? Luke 7:24 KJV |

29 И́бо я зна́ю,
29 [For, Because] i [i know, know],
что,
[what, that, why],
по отше́ствии моем,
[along, by, in, on, to, unto] [departed, departure] [my, mine],
войду́т к вам лю́тые во́лки,
(they will enter) [to, for, by] [to you, ye, you] [fierce, grievous] wolves,
не щадящие стада;
[never, not] щадящие [herds, flocks]; |
For I know this,
that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Acts 20:29 KJV |
