зажёгши свечу́,
[ignite, kindle, lighted, lighting, lit up] [a candle, candle],
не ста́вят её под сосу́дом,
[never, not] [put, they put] her [below, beneath, under, underneath] [a vessel, vessel],
но на подсве́чнике,
[but, yet] [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] [candlestick, the candlestick],
и све́тит всем в до́ме.
and [it is shining, shines, shineth, shining] [everyone, to everyone] [at, in, of, on] [home, house]. |
Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Matthew 5:15 ESV
