28 Когда́ возвышаются нечести́вые,

28 When возвышаются [the unholy, the wicked, unholy, wicked],

лю́ди укрываются,

people укрываются,

а когда́ они́ па́дают,

[while, and, but] when [they, they are] [are falling, fall, falling],

умножаются пра́ведники.

умножаются [righteous, the righteous].

When the wicked rise,
men hide themselves:
but when they perish,
the righteous increase.

2 Когда́ умножаются пра́ведники,

2 When умножаются [righteous, the righteous],

весели́тся наро́д,

[fun, have fun, having fun] [crowd, nation, people],

а когда́ господствует нечести́вый,

[while, and, but] when господствует [the wicked one, unholy, wicked],

наро́д стенает.

[crowd, nation, people] стенает.

When the righteous are in authority,
the people rejoice:
but when the wicked beareth rule,
the people mourn.

For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us,
