John 5:18 NRT
18 Тогда́ иуде́и ещё бо́лее усе́рдно ста́ли иска́ть возмо́жности уби́ть Иису́са,
18 Then jews [again, also, another, even, further, more] [above, greater, more, over] diligently [be, become, get] [looking, search, searching, seeking, sought] capabilities [destroy, kill, murder, slew, to kill] Jesus,
ведь Он не то́лько наруша́л суббо́ту,
[because, after all, indeed] He [never, not] [alone, only, just] [breaking, broken, violated] [sabbath, saturday],
но к тому́ же называ́л Бо́га Свои́м Отцо́м,
[but, yet] [to, for, by] [one, the one] [but, same, then] called God [His, Mine, Your] Father,
прира́внивая Себя́ к Бо́гу.
equating [Itself, Myself, Yourself] [to, for, by] God. |
This was why the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God. John 5:18 ESV
Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him,
because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. John 5:18 KJV |
