Злословь

Acts 23:5 RUSV

5 Па́вел сказа́л:

5 Paul [he said, said, say, saying, tell]:

я не знал,

i [never, not] [knew, know],

бра́тия,

[brethren, brothers],

что он первосвяще́нник;

[what, that, why] he (high priest);

и́бо напи́сано:

[for, because] written:

«начальствующего в наро́де твоём не злословь».

«начальствующего [at, in, of, on] [people, the people] yours [never, not] злословь».

Then said Paul,
I wist not,
brethren,
that he was the high priest:
for it is written,
Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.
