47 А потому́ ска́зываю тебе́:

47 [While, And, But] [because, that is why, therefore] [i say, say] [thee, you]:

проща́ются грехи́ её мно́гие за то,

[forgiven, say goodbye, saying goodbye] sins her many [after, around, at, behind, over] that,

что́ она́ возлюби́ла мно́го,

[what, that, why] [she, she is] loved [a lot of, many],

а кому́ мало́ проща́ется,

[while, and, but] [to whom, who, whom, whomsoever] few [goodbye, says goodbye],

тот мало́ лю́бит.

that few [loves, loveth].

Therefore I tell you,
her sins,
which are many,
are forgiven—for she loved much.
But he who is forgiven little,
loves little.”
