3 Тогда́ Па́вел сказа́л ему́:

Бог бу́дет бить тебя́,

стена́ подбелённая!
wall [bleached, whitewashed]!
ты сиди́шь,
you [sitting, you are sitting],
что́бы суди́ть по зако́ну,

и,
and,
вопреки́ зако́ну,
[despite, in spite of] law,
вели́шь бить меня́.
