держа́сь поо́даль,

[carry, holding on, keep] [further away, some distance away],

сле́довал за Иису́сом и прошёл пря́мо во двор первосвяще́нника.

[followed, following] [after, around, at, behind, over] Jesus and passed [directly, immediately, specifically, clearly, plainly] in [yard, courtyard] (high priest).

Войдя́ внутрь,

Entering [inside, inwards],

он сел со стражниками,

he [sat, sat down] [after, with] стражниками,

что́бы уви́деть,

[to, so that, in order to, because of] see,

чём все кончится.

[how, than, what, whence, which, why] [all, any, every, everybody, everyone] кончится.

And Peter was following him at a distance,
as far as the courtyard of the high priest,
and going inside he sat with the guards to see the end.

right into the courtyard of the high priest.
And he was sitting with the guards and warming himself at the fire.
