13 Я не име́л поко́я ду́ху моему́,
13 I [never, not] had [peace, rest] spirit my,
потому́ что не нашёл там бра́та моего́ Ти́та;
[because, that is why, therefore] [what, that, why] [never, not] found there brother my Titus;
но,
[but, yet],
простившись с ни́ми,
простившись [and, from, in, of, with] them,
я пошёл в Македо́нию.
i [gone, went] [at, in, of, on] Macedonia. |
I had no rest in my spirit,

что вы все успокоили дух его́.

Therefore we were comforted in your comfort:

[to, so that, in order to, because of] he,
как на́чал,

так и око́нчил у вас и э́то до́брое де́ло.
so and graduated [at, by, with, of] you and [that, this, it] [good, kind] [affair, business]. |
Insomuch that we desired Titus,
