25 бы́ло у нас семь бра́тьев;

пе́рвый,

[first, the first],

женившись,

у́мер и,

died and,

не име́я дете́й,

[never, not] having [child, children],

оста́вил жену́ свою́ бра́ту своему́;

[departed, left] [my wife, wife] [its, my, thy, your] brother [to his, your own];

Now there were seven brothers among us.
The first married and died,
and having no offspring left his wife to his brother.
