4 Душа лени́вого жела́ет,
4 Soul [lazy, the lazy one] [wants, wishes],
но тще́тно;
[but, yet] [in vain, vain];
а душа приле́жных насы́тится.
[while, and, but] soul diligent [get enough, will be sated]. |

тот бу́дет насыщаться хле́бом,
that [will be, would be] насыщаться bread,
а кто подражает праздным,

тот насы́тится нищетою.
