53 И́бо тленному сёму надлежи́т обле́чься в нетле́ние,
53 [For, Because] тленному this [due, it should, to be] [get dressed, put on] [at, in, of, on] [incorruptibility, incorruption],
и смертному сёму обле́чься в бессме́ртие.
and смертному this [get dressed, put on] [at, in, of, on] immortality. |
For this corruptible must put on incorruption,

2 От того́ мы и воздыха́ем,

жела́я обле́чься в небе́сное на́ше жили́ще;

воздыха́ем под бременем,

потому́ что не хоти́м совлечься,
