Genesis 32:28 RUSV
28 И сказа́л:
28 And [he said, said, say, saying, tell]:
отны́не и́мя тебе́ бу́дет не Иа́ков,
[from now on, henceforth, now] name [thee, you] [will be, would be] [never, not] [Jacob, James],
а Изра́иль,
[while, and, but] Israel,
и́бо ты боро́лся с Бо́гом,
[for, because] you [fought, struggled, wrestled] [and, from, in, of, with] [By God, God],
и челове́ков одолева́ть бу́дешь.
and [men, people] overcome [will you be, you will]. |
Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.” Genesis 32:28 ESV
