20 Так челове́к дал имена́ всему́ скоту,

20 So [man, human, person] gave names [all, everything] скоту,

всем пти́цам небе́сным и всем полевым зверя́м.

[everyone, to everyone] [birds, for the birds] [heaven, heavenly] and [everyone, to everyone] полевым [animals, to the animals].

Но для Ада́ма не нашло́сь подходящего помощника.

[But, Yet] for Adam [never, not] found подходящего помощника.

The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field.

и держал свои́ стада осо́бо и не ставил их вме́сте со ското́м Лавана.

And Jacob separated the lambs and set the faces of the flocks toward the striped and all the black in the flock of Laban.
