16 Иа́ков пришёл с по́ля ве́чером,

16 [Jacob, James] [arrive, came, come] [and, from, in, of, with] fields [evening, in the evening],

и Ли́я вы́шла ему́ навстре́чу и сказа́ла:

and Leah [came out, gone out] [him, it, to him] towards and ((she) said):

войди́ ко мне;

[come in, login] to [me, to me];

и́бо я купи́ла тебя́ за мандраго́ры сы́на моего́.

[for, because] i [bought, i bought it] [thee, you, your] [after, around, at, behind, over] mandrakes [a son, my son, son] my.

И лёг он с не́ю в ту ночь.

And (lay down) he [and, from, in, of, with] [her, she] [at, in, into, of, on] that night.

When Jacob came from the field in the evening,
Leah went out to meet him and said,
“You must come in to me,
for I have hired you with my son's mandrakes.”
So he lay with her that night.
