2 лу́чше бы́ло бы ему́,
2 [better, expedient] [it was, was] would [him, it, to him],
е́сли бы ме́льничный жёрнов пове́сили ему́ на ше́ю и бро́сили его́ в мо́ре,
[if, a, when, unless] would mill millstone [hanged, hung] [him, it, to him] [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] [neck, throat] and [threw, abandoned] [his, him, it] [at, in, of, on] [sea, water],
не́жели что́бы он соблазни́л одного́ из ма́лых сих.
(rather than) [to, so that, in order to, because of] he seduced one [from, in, of, out] [little, small] [now, these, those]. |
It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin. Luke 17:2 ESV
