23 В а́ду,
23 [At, In, Of, On] hell,
где бога́ч терпе́л муче́ния,
[somewhere, where, wherever] [rich, rich-man] endured [agony, torment, torture],
он как-то подня́л глаза и уви́дел вдали́ Авраа́ма,
he somehow [lifted, lifting, raised] eyes and [had seen, saw, seeing, seen, seeth] far-away Abraham,
а ря́дом с ним Ла́заря.
