20 –Дава́йте убьём его́ и бро́сим в пересохший коло́дец,

20 –(Let Us) [assassinate, kill, let us kill, murder] [his, him, it] and [leave, leave, let us quit, let us throw, throw] [at, in, of, on] пересохший well,

а отцу́ ска́жем,

[while, and, but] father [let us say, say],

что его́ сожрал ди́кий зверь.

[what, that, why] [his, him, it] сожрал wild (the beast).

Тогда́ посмо́трим,

Then (let us look and see),

что вы́йдет из его́ снов.

[what, that, why] [will come out, get out] [from, in, of, out] [his, him, it] снов.

Come now,
let us kill him and throw him into one of the pits.
Then we will say that a fierce animal has devoured him,
and we will see what will become of his dreams.”
