4 Нача́льник телохрани́телей приставил к ним Ио́сифа,
4 [Boss, Supervisor] [bodyguards, guard] приставил [to, for, by] him Joseph,
и он служи́л им.
and he [served, serving] [it, them].
И пробы́ли они́ под стражею не́сколько вре́мени.
And [abode, stayed, tarry] [they, they are] [below, beneath, under, underneath] стражею [a few, not many, several, some, somewhat] time. |
The captain of the guard appointed Joseph to be with them, and he attended them. They continued for some time in custody. Genesis 40:4 ESV

7 И спроси́л он царедворцев фараоновых,
7 And asked he царедворцев фараоновых,
находи́вшихся с ним в до́ме господи́на его́ под стражею,
[those who were present, who were] [and, from, in, of, with] him [at, in, of, on] [home, house] [lord, master, mister] [his, him, it] [below, beneath, under, underneath] стражею,
говоря́:
[saying, talking]:
отчего́ у вас сего́дня печальные лица?
[from what, why] [at, by, with, of] you today печальные faces? |
So he asked Pharaoh's officers who were with him in custody in his master's house, “Why are your faces downcast today?” Genesis 40:7 ESV
