Luke 18:13 NRT
13 А сбо́рщик нало́гов,
13 [While, And, But] collector taxes,
сто́я вдали́,
[standing, stood] far-away,
не смел да́же глаз к не́бу подня́ть,
[never, not] dared even eye [to, for, by] [sky, the sky] raise,
но бил себя́ в грудь и говори́л:
[but, yet] [beat, punch, smite, strike] [itself, myself, yourself] [at, in, of, on] [breast, chest] and spoke:
«Бо́же,
«God,
будь ми́лостив ко мне,
be [gracious, merciful] to [me, to me],
гре́шнику».
[sinner, to the sinner, transgressor]». |
But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’ Luke 18:13 ESV
And the publican,
standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. Luke 18:13 KJV |
