30 нача́льствующий над то́ю землёю говори́л с на́ми сурово и при́нял нас за соглядатаев земли той.

вот как узнаю я,
[behold, here, there] [how, what, as, like (comparison)] [discover, i recognize, i will find out, know, recognize] i,
че́стные ли вы лю́ди:
[honest, true] whether [ye, you] people:
оста́вьте у меня́ одного́ бра́та из вас,
[leave, leave it] [at, by, with, of] [i, me, self] one brother [from, in, of, out] you,
а вы возьми́те хлеб ра́ди го́лода семейств ва́ших и пойди́те,
