Ляжешь

34 На друго́й день ста́ршая дочь сказа́ла мла́дшей:

34 [At, By, In, It, On The, To, Toward, Upon] another day older daughter ((she) said) [the youngest, younger, youngest]:

–Прошлой но́чью я легла́ с отцо́м.

– Прошлой [at night, by night, night] i [lay, lay down] [and, from, in, of, with] father.

Дава́й опя́ть напоим его́ вино́м сего́дня ве́чером,

[Come On, Let Us] again [drunk, let us get you drunk] [his, him, it] wine today [evening, in the evening],

и ты войдёшь и ляжешь с ним,

and you (you will come in) and ляжешь [and, from, in, of, with] him,

что́бы мы могли́ сохрани́ть наш род че́рез на́шего отца́.

[to, so that, in order to, because of] [we, we are] could save our [genus, species, type] [across, by way of, through] our [father, the father].

The next day,
the firstborn said to the younger,
“Behold,
I lay last night with my father.
Let us make him drink wine tonight also.
Then you go in and lie with him,
that we may preserve offspring from our father.”

And it came to pass on the morrow,
that the firstborn said unto the younger,
Behold,
I lay yesternight with my father:
let us make him drink wine this night also;
and go thou in,
and lie with him,
that we may preserve seed of our father.
