14 Они́ сказа́ли им:

–Мы не мо́жем сде́лать тако́го:

отда́ть на́шу сестру́ необрезанному мужчине бы́ло бы для нас позором.

[give, give away] [our, ours] [my sister, sister] необрезанному мужчине [it was, was] would for [us, we] позором.

“We cannot do this thing,
to give our sister to one who is uncircumcised,
for that would be a disgrace to us.

“Is it lawful to divorce one's wife for any cause?”
