9 So,

что же?

име́ем ли мы преимущество?

[we have, keep] whether [we, we are] преимущество?

Нисколько.

И́бо мы уже́ доказали,

[For, Because] [we, we are] already доказали,

что как Иуде́и,

[what, that, why] [how, what, as, like (comparison)] Jews,

так и Еллины,

so and [Hellenes, Greek],

все под грехом,

[all, any, every, everybody, everyone] [below, beneath, under, underneath] грехом,

What then?
are we better than they?
No,
in no wise:
for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles,
that they are all under sin;

12 Посему,

12 Therefore,

как одни́м челове́ком грех вошёл в мир,

[how, what, as, like (comparison)] one [a man, human, man] [offences, sin] [entered, has entered] [at, in, of, on] [peace, the world, world],

и грехом —— смерть,

and грехом —— [death, dying],

так и смерть перешла во всех челове́ков,

so and [death, dying] перешла [in, on] [all, everyone] [men, people],

потому́ что в нем все согрешили.

[because, that is why, therefore] [what, that, why] [at, in, of, on] [dumb, him, mute, speechless] [all, any, every, everybody, everyone] согрешили.

Wherefore,
as by one man sin entered into the world,
and death by sin;
and so death passed upon all men,
for that all have sinned:

13 Ита́к,

13 So,

неуже́ли до́брое сде́лалось мне смертоносным?

[greater, indeed, really, surely] [good, kind] [done, happened, it happened] [me, to me] смертоносным?

Ника́к;

[Anyhow, No Way];

но грех,

[but, yet] [offences, sin],

оказывающийся грехом потому́,

оказывающийся грехом [because, that is why, therefore],

что посре́дством до́брого причиняет мне смерть,

[what, that, why] [by, by means of] [good, good morning, hello] причиняет [me, to me] [death, dying],

так что грех стано́вится крайне грешен посре́дством за́поведи.

so [what, that, why] [offences, sin] becomes крайне грешен [by, by means of] commandments.

Was then that which is good made death unto me?
God forbid.
But sin,
that it might appear sin,
working death in me by that which is good;
that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
