9 Онан знал,
9 Onan [knew, know],
что се́мя бу́дет не ему́,
[what, that, why] [offspring, seed] [will be, would be] [never, not] [him, it, to him],
и потому́,
and [because, that is why, therefore],
когда́ входи́л к же́не бра́та своего́,
when [coming in, entered] [to, for, by] wife brother [his, yours],
изливал на зе́млю,

But Onan knew that the offspring would not be his. So whenever he went in to his brother's wife he would waste the semen on the ground, so as not to give offspring to his brother. Genesis 38:9 ESV
