26 Не будь из тех,
26 [Never, Not] be [from, in, of, out] those,
кото́рые даю́т руки и поручаются за долги:

Be not thou one of them that strike hands,

от кого́ наде́етесь получи́ть обра́тно,
from [that, who, whom] [expect, hope, you hope] [get, obtain, receive, to get] back,
то в чём ва́ша заслу́га?
that [at, in, of, on] [how, than, what, which] your [accomplishment, credit, merit]?
Ведь да́же гре́шники даю́т в долг гре́шникам,
[Because, After All, Indeed] even sinners [give, provide, they give] [at, in, of, on] debt [for sinners, sinners],
ожида́я получи́ть наза́д сто́лько же.
[anticipating, expecting, waiting] [get, obtain, receive, to get] back [many, much, multitude, so many, so much] [but, same, then]. |
