23 По́сле э́тих слов среди́ бра́тьев распространи́лся слух,
23 [After, Beyond] these words among [brethren, brothers] [spread, distribute] [hearing, rumor, rumour],
что э́тот учени́к не умрёт,
[what, that, why] this [disciple, student] [never, not] [die, he will die, will die],
но Иису́с не сказа́л,
[but, yet] Jesus [never, not] [he said, said, say, saying, tell],
что он не умрёт;
[what, that, why] he [never, not] [die, he will die, will die];
Он сказа́л лишь:
He [he said, said, say, saying, tell] only:
«Е́сли да́же Я захочу́,
«[If, A, When, Unless] even I (i want),
что́бы он был жив,
[to, so that, in order to, because of] he [be, to be, was, were] [alive, liveth, living],
пока́ Я не приду́,
[bye, while] I [never, not] [come, i will come],
то что тебе́ до э́того?»
that [what, that, why] [thee, you] [before, until] this?» |
So the saying spread abroad among the brothers that this disciple was not to die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he was not to die, but, “If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you?” John 21:23 ESV
Then went this saying abroad among the brethren,
that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? John 21:23 KJV |
