1 [Hear, Listen, Listen Up] Children [Instruction, The Manual] [Father, The Father] And [Listen, Listen Up, Pay Attention] [To, So That, In Order To, Because Of] [Know, Learn] [Mind, The Mind, Understanding]
 
2 Потому́ что́ я препода́л вам до́брое уче́ние. Не оставля́йте за́поведи мое́й.

2 [Because, That Is Why, Therefore] [What, That, Why] I Taught [To You, Ye, You] [Good, Kind] [Doctrine, Teaching.] [Never, Not] [Leave, Leave It] Commandments My.
 
3 И́бо и я был сын у отца́ моего́, не́жно люби́мый и еди́нственный у ма́тери мое́й,

4 И он учи́л меня́ и говори́л мне: да

MEE-nyah 		ee gah-vah-REEL mneh dah
4 And He [Learned, Taught, Teaching] [I, Me, Self] And Spoke [Me, To Me] Yes
уде́ржит се́рдце твоё слова мои́; храни́ за́поведи мои́, и живи́.
oo-DER-jeet SER-tseh tvah-YAW SLAW-vah
slah-VAH 		mah-EE hhrah-NEE ZAH-pah-vee-dee mah-EE ee jee-VEE
[Hold, It Will Hold, Will Hold] [Heart, Hearts] [Thy, Your, Yours] [Speech, The Words, Word, Words] My [Keep, Store, Preserve] Commandments My And Live.
 
5 Приобрета́й му́дрость, приобрета́й ра́зум: не забыва́й

5 [Buy Now, Purchase] Wisdom [Buy Now, Purchase] [Brain, Mind, The Mind] [Never, Not] [Forget, Forget It]
э́того и не уклоня́йся от слов уст мои́х.

6 Не оставля́й её, и она́ бу́дет охраня́ть

6 [Never, Not] (Leave It) Her And [She, She Is] [Will Be, Would Be] [Guard, Protect, Keep]
тебя́; люби́ её, и она́ бу́дет оберега́ть тебя́.
tee-BYAH lew-BEE yee-YAW ee ah-NAH BOO-deet ah-bee-ree-GAHT tee-BYAH
You Love Her And [She, She Is] [Will Be, Would Be] Protect You.
 
7 Гла́вное —— му́дрость: приобрета́й му́дрость,

7 [Main, The Main Thing] — Wisdom [Buy Now, Purchase] Wisdom
и всем име́нием твои́м приобрета́й ра́зум.

8 Высоко́ цени́ её, и она́ возвы́сит тебя́;

8 [Elevated, High, Superior] [Appreciate, Appreciate It] Her And [She, She Is] [Elevate, Exalt, Will Exalt] You
она́ просла́вит тебя́, е́сли ты приле́пишься к ней;

9 Возло́жит на го́лову твою́ прекра́сный венок, доста́вит тебе́ великоле́пный венец.

10 Слу́шай, сын мой, и прими́ слова мои́, —— и умно́жатся тебе́ ле́та жи́зни.

slah-VAH 		mah-EE ee oom-NAW-jaht-syah tee-BEH LEH-tah JEEZ-nee
10 Listen Son [Mine, My] And [Accept, Assume] [Speech, The Words, Word, Words] My — And [Multiply, They Will Multiply, Will Multiply] [Thee, You] [Summer, Years] Life.
 
11 Я ука́зываю тебе́ путь му́дрости, веду́ тебя́ по стезя́м прямы́м.

11 I [I Indicate, Taught] [Thee, You] [Path, Road, Route, The Way, Way] Wisdom [I Am Leading, Leading] You [Along, By, In, On, To, Unto] Paths [Direct, Forward, Straight.]
 
12 Когда́ пойдёшь, не бу́дет стеснён ход твой, и когда́ побежи́шь, не споткнёшься.

13 Кре́пко держи́сь наставле́ния, не оставля́й, храни́

13 [Firmly, Solidly, Strongly, Tight] (Hold On) [Instructing, Instructions] [Never, Not] (Leave It) [Keep, Store, Preserve]
его́, потому́ что́ оно́ —— жизнь твоя́.

[His, Him, It] [Because, That Is Why, Therefore] [What, That, Why] It — [Life, Living] Yours.
 
14 Не вступа́й на стезю́ нечести́вых и не ходи по пути́ злых;

14 [Never, Not] [Come In, Join In] [At, By, In, It, On The, To, Toward, Upon] [Path, The Path] [The Wicked, Wicked] And [Never, Not] [Go Ahead, Walk] [Along, By, In, On, To, Unto] [Ways, Path, Road] [Angry, Evil]
 
15 Оста́вь его́, не ходи по нему́, уклони́сь от него́ и пройди́ ми́мо;

16 Потому́ что́ они́ не засну́т, е́сли не сде́лают зла;
pah-tah-MOO shtoah ah-NEE nyeh zahs-NOOT YES-lee nyeh SDEH-lah-yoot zlah
16 [Because, That Is Why, Therefore] [What, That, Why] [They, They Are] [Never, Not] [Fall Asleep, They Will Fall Asleep] [If, A, When, Unless] [Never, Not] [Will Do, Give] Evil
пропадает сон у них, е́сли они́ не доведу́т кого́ до паде́ния;

17 И́бо они́ едя́т хлеб беззако́ния и пьют вино́ хище́ния.
EE-bah ah-NEE yee-DYAHT hhlep beez-zah-KAW-nee-yah ee pyoot vee-NAW hhee-SHHEH-nee-yah
17 [For, Because] [They, They Are] [Are Eating, Eating] [Bread, Loaves, Shewbread] Lawlessness And [Drink, They Drink] Wine [Embezzlement, Theft.]
 
18 Стезя́ пра́ведных —— как свети́ло лучеза́рное,
stee-ZYAH PRAH-veed-nihh kahk svee-TEE-lah loo-chee-ZAHR-nah-yeh
18 [Path, Way] [Godly, Righteous, The Righteous] — [How, What, As, Like (comparison)] [Lamp, Light, The Luminary] Radiant
кото́рое бо́лее и бо́лее светле́ет до по́лного дня.
kah-TAW-rah-ee BAW-lee-ee ee BAW-lee-ee sveet-LEH-yet daw POL-nah-vah dnyah
Which [Above, Greater, More, Over] And [Above, Greater, More, Over] (It Is Getting Lighter) [Before, Until] [Complete, Entire, Full] [Days, Of The Day.]
 
19 Путь же беззако́нных —— как тьма; они́ не зна́ют, обо́ что́ споткну́тся.

19 [Path, Road, Route, The Way, Way] [But, Same, Then] Lawless — [How, What, As, Like (comparison)] [Dark, Darkness] [They, They Are] [Never, Not] Know About [What, That, Why] [Stumble, They Will Stumble.]
 
20 Сын мой! слова́м мои́м внима́й, и к реча́м мои́м приклони́ у́хо твоё;
sin moy slah-VAHM mah-EEM vnee-MY ee k ree-CHAHM mah-EEM preek-lah-NEE OO-hhah tvah-YAW
20 Son [Mine, My] Words My (Pay Attention) And [To, For, By] Speeches My (Bow Down) Ear [Thy, Your, Yours]
 
21 Да не отхо́дят они́ от глаз твои́х; храни́ их внутри́ сердца твоего́:
dah nyeh aht-HHAW-dyaht ah-NEE ot glahz tvah-EEHH hhrah-NEE eehh vnoot-REE SER-tsah tvah-ee-VAU
21 Yes [Never, Not] [They Are Leaving, They Are Moving Away] [They, They Are] [By, From, Of] Eye [Your, Yours] [Keep, Store, Preserve] [Them, Their] [Inside, Within] [Heart, Hearts, Very Heart] [Thy, Your]
 
22 Потому́ что́ они́ жизнь для того́, кто́ нашёл их, и здра́вие для всего́ тела его́.

23 Бо́льше всего́ храни́мого храни́ се́рдце

23 [Again, Great, More] [Total, Only, Altogether] Stored [Keep, Store, Preserve] [Heart, Hearts]
твоё, потому́ что́ из него́ исто́чники жи́зни.

[Thy, Your, Yours] [Because, That Is Why, Therefore] [What, That, Why] [From, In, Of, Out] Him [Resources, Sources] Life.
 
24 Отве́ргни от себя́ лжи́вость уст, и лука́вство языка́ удали от себя́.

25 Глаза твои́ пусть пря́мо смо́трят, и
